Virtual occlusion in orthognathic surgery

The aim of this retrospective study was to determine whether a virtually created occlusion is as accurate conventionally occlusion. Seventeen orthognathic patients were included in the study, which conducted university clinic. Plaster cast models obtained and digitized. Two experienced observers conventional (gold standard) virtual assess inter-observer variability. One observer second time intra-observer criterion for accepting that difference between gold standard not larger than variability standard. A non-parametric Kruskal–Wallis H test performed detect statistically significant differences intra- groups both No found different groups. group 0.20 mm tool presented here can be utilized daily clinical practice makes use physical dental redundant.
